Brad Leali Alto Passion, special guest Ronald Baker

The Denver saxophonist is rooted in the tradition of lyrical blues and gospel music stemming from Cannonball Adderley. Recognized by jazz greats like Cleanhead Vinson and Frank Foster, he has played in the big bands of Count Basie, Clark Terry, and Benny Golson, and was also recruited by Harry Connick Jr. and Nancy Wilson. He has also distinguished himself with his compositions, magnificently performed by his own orchestra (the fabulous Maria Juarez , with Jon Faddis as a guest) and alongside Lyle Lovett. His fervor and passionate invention, his incisive tone, and his authentic roots make him a rare saxophonist. For his visit, he invites Ronald Baker for an explosive encounter. Undoubtedly the concert of the season!
