This course offers you a journey to the heart of these two iconic wine regions to unravel their mysteries and savor their nuances . Our sommelier will guide you through a comparative tasting of 6 wines (1 white and 2 reds from each region), selected to illustrate the richness and diversity of their respective terroirs.

You will learn to distinguish:

• The king grape varieties of each region: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in Burgundy, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Sémillon in Bordeaux

• The influence of climate and terroir on the style of wines (continental climate in Burgundy, oceanic in Bordeaux)

• The winemaking and aging techniques specific to each vineyard
